5 Tips for Showing up with Ease on LinkedIn

In my latest conversation with Ashley Leeds, we talked about confidence, consistency, and why visibility comes from showing up, not scrolling.

Ashley is known as The 15-Minute Guy. He helps business owners use LinkedIn in short, focused bursts that build trust and connection. What started as his own struggle to stay visible has become a simple system that helps thousands of professionals show up every day without burnout.

Most people overthink LinkedIn. They worry about what to post, how often to post, or if anyone is even watching. Ashley sees it differently. It’s not about being perfect. It’s about being present.

Ashley put it clearly:

“Confidence comes from showing up. The more you show up, the easier it gets.”

💡 Ashley’s top 5 tips for showing up with ease on LinkedIn:

  1. Keep it simple You don’t need fancy graphics or long posts. Share one thought, one story, or one  lesson each day.
  2. Show your personality People connect with people. Let your tone, humour, and energy come through in your posts and comments.
  3. Start small Commit to 15 minutes a day. That’s enough to post, engage, and connect. Consistency matters more than time spent.
  4. Use video Video helps people see and trust you faster. You don’t need a studio. Your phone camera is enough.
  5. Enjoy it When LinkedIn feels like fun, you’ll show up naturally. Stop chasing perfection and start connecting.
